WHEN IS FURIOSA: A MAD MAX SAGA COMING OUT? ABOUT MOVIE!!

Furiosa will hit Australian theaters on May 23, 2024, with the film reaching U.S. cinemas the following day. However, like Fury Road in 2015, Furiosa will be screened on May 15, 2024, at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie may not be out yet, but audiences of an early test screening in Burbank reportedly had nothing high praise for it.

ABOUT MOVIE!!

While Mad Max: Fury Road only took place across several days, the scope of Furiosa will be much larger, spanning the 15 years leading up to the events of Fury Road.

The official synopsis of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga reads:

As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga CAST!

At CCXP 2023, the first trailer for the Furiosa movie added to the interest already drummed up for the film by its major casting announcements. Anya Taylor-Joy has long been attached to the project in the role originated by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road, only worsening Mad Max and Furiosa's confusing franchise timeline. That said, the trailer for Furiosa offered interesting first looks at the movie's star-studded cast, despite not all of their roles being clear as yet. With Furiosa set to emulate its predecessors, the main cast will be rather small, yet the characters will all be dynamic and unforgettable denizens of George Miller's imaginative post-apocalyptic landscape.

Bill Skarsgård, celebrated for his chilling portrayal of Pennywise in the It series, steps into new roles in “Boy Kills World,” expanding beyond characters requiring heavy makeup. Directed by Moritz Mohr in his directorial debut, with production by Sam Raimi, the film promises a fresh narrative and intense action.

ABOUT MOVIE!!

In a cinematic landscape built on tried-and-true formulas, Moritz Mohr‘s Boy Kills World dares to be different, blurring the boundaries between absurdity and adrenaline-pumping action. Written by Tyler Burton Smith and Arend Remmers, this audacious venture is steeped in a dystopian backdrop plays by its own rules. Dive into a world where chaos meets comedy, and gory kills are an everyday thing. The film stars Bill Skarsgard, Famke Janssen, Yayan Ruhian, Sharlto Copley, Andrew Koji, Brett Gelman, Jessica Rothe, and Isaiah Mustafa.

Boy Kills World begins with an animation about the Culling, a yearly tradition that kills off random members of the population started by Hilda (Janssen). Then cut to the rainy jungle where the Boy, covered in mud, crawls to the feet of Shaman (Ruhian), a man who is also in the jungle training the boy in the way of martial arts. The narrative is accompanied by his internal dialogue that provides exposition and uses his ability to communicate with others who seem to understand him even though he can’t hear or speak.

'Boy Kills World' cast?

The cast is lit with Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Sharlto Copley, Brett Gelman, Isaiah Mustafa, and Andrew Koji. Bill Skarsgård takes the lead, with a dope crew backing him up. The movie’s about different characters dealing with a messed-up world of darkness.

WHEN IS Civil War COMING OUT? ABOUT MOVIE!!

Alex Garland’s dystopian, state-of-the-nation action film Civil War isn’t even on general release yet but it has still managed to provoke a certain amount of debate on social media. Some have questioned its timing; it is seen as potentially driving yet another wedge between the public and dividing the masses in the run-out to the critical US general elections on 5 November. Others have argued that it is sending out a chilling message that one section of society could subconsciously latch on to, embedding an idea of the US plunging into an all-out civil war in which people are forced to pick sides.

ABOUT MOVIE!!

The press are the good guys, but also kind of the bad guys, in Alex Garland’s virtuosic “Civil War,” a jarring ground-level account of what a near-future disunification of the United States might look like. Intended as a wake-up call, the long-fuse thriller — which starts slow and snowballs to a jaw-dropping raid on Washington, D.C. — embeds viewers alongside a dedicated team of journalists making their way to the Capitol while the country unravels around them. It’s the most upsetting dystopian vision yet from the sci-fi brain that killed off all of London for the zombie uprising depicted in “28 Days Later,” and one that can’t be easily consumed as entertainment. A provocative shock to the system, “Civil War” is designed to be divisive. Ironically, it’s also meant to bring folks together.

'Civil War' cast?

Kirsten Dunst (Lee)
Wagner Moura (Joel)
Cailee Spaeny (Jessie)
Stephen McKinley Henderson (Sammy)
Sonoya Mizuno (Anya)
Nick Offerman (US President)
Jefferson White (Dave)
Juani Feliz (Joy Butler)
Nelson Lee (Tony)
Edmund Donovan (Eddie)
Jin Ha (A sniper)

WHEN IS Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire COMING OUT? ABOUT MOVIE!!

In March 2022, Godzilla vs Kong updates indicates the movie was going to film in Queensland, Australia. That filming finally wrapped up in late 2022. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire will be filmed in the southeast of Queensland as well as on the Gold Coast. With shooting wrapped, there will now be a very long period of editing and post-production where they design the monsters and CGI that will play out on the screen. After several shifts, the movie is now slated to release on March 29th, 2024.

ABOUT MOVIE!!

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is set to be an epic showdown, especially given the end of the first modern Godzilla vs Kong film. The MonsterVerse's future was always geared around Godzilla vs Kong's release. Six years before Godzilla vs Kong hit theaters and HBO Max, Warner Bros., and Legendary Entertainment announced plans to develop a King Kong film in addition to a Godzilla sequel, everyone knew it would ultimately lead to a Godzilla and Kong showdown. Jordan Vogt-Roberts' Kong: Skull Island came out in 2017 and Michael Dougherty's Godzilla: King of the Monsters was finally released in 2019 — five years after Gareth Edwards' first movie debuted.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire: The Cast

When it comes to Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire updates, the focus remains on the monsters and not so much on the humans. This makes casting news secondary to news about the monsters themselves. However, there are some big Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire updates about the humans who will appear alongside the giant creatures. The biggest news is that there is a brand-new lead character in Legion's Dan Stevens.Stevens is playing the main protagonist in what might be a similar role as the one Alexander Skarsgård played in Godzilla vs. Kong.

Brian Tyree Henry is set to return as Bernie Hayes, who appeared for the first time in Godzilla vs. Kong. He was the conspiracy theorist who teamed with Madison Russell and Josh Valentine to expose what Monarch was doing behind the scenes. Rebecca Hall is also back as Dr. Ilene Andrews, the linguist who studied Kong on Skull Island, as is Kaylee Hottle as her adopted daughter Jia. When it comes to newcomers, Fala Chen (Shang Chi) has joined the cast in an unknown role. Alex Ferns (Andor) and Rachel House (Thor Ragnarok) are two other new cast members.

WHEN IS Parallel COMING OUT? CAST, ABOUT MOVIE!!

There are many exciting genre releases to look forward to in the month of February. If you’re a sci-fi fan, Parallel from director Kourosh Ahari is set to hit theaters on February 23. Now, ahead of its haunting release, Parallel’s first trailer is a twisted take on a parents' worst nightmare.

What’s ‘Parallel’ About?

The film follows a couple, Vanessa and Alex (Danielle Deadwyler and Aldis Hodge), who go to their lake house to help cope with the recent loss of their son. They’re accompanied by Alex’s brother Martel (Edwin Hodge), but nothing can prepare them when Alex gets attacked by a parallel version of herself and different versions of the same person can’t coexist in the same place in the multiverse. The heavy trailer filled with grief does a great job setting the dyer tone and the compellingly tragic conundrum Alex faces. While this is being pegged as a sci-fi thriller, there are more than a few horror elements, creepy shots and concepts that are sure to peak any type of genre fan’s interest. Especially considering the bleak themes at play paired with some emotionally striking direction.
